Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This reproduction of a Sol LeWitt wall drawing uses SVG paths to render geometric forms based on the artist’s instructional artworks. The drawing comprises gray-filled outer paths and black stroked lines, all defined with SVG `path` elements. The code uses a raw SVG element with embedded CSS for styling. Generated via JavaScript in an HTML page, the piece shows a strict geometric composition without interactive behavior or data input, serving as a static homage to LeWitt’s rule-based visual systems. The rendering is entirely code-driven, with no external JavaScript libraries employed.

SVG Fundamentals

Two broad grey triangles dominate an otherwise empty SVG canvas, illustrating basic shape construction in SVG. The example uses raw `path` elements with `d` attributes containing absolute and relative `l` commands to draw each triangle. Paths receive a black stroke and no fill by default, while a specific class overrides the fill to grey. The code relies on core SVG syntax and CSS styling, with no external libraries or data sources involved. The result is a minimal demonstration of how coordinate-based drawing and path commands create geometric shapes in a 960 by 500 viewport.
