Fork of Let's Make a Face Part I
This example renders a simple smiley face using React and D3.js, drawing yellow circular head with black eyes and a curved mouth. The face is constructed with SVG elements, including circles for the head and eyes and a path generated by the d3.arc() generator for the mouth. The d3.arc() API creates the semicircular smile by specifying inner and outer radii along with start and end angles. All shapes are positioned relative to a central transform, and the SVG scales with the fixed 500-pixel viewport. React manages the component structure while D3 handles the geometric calculations for the arc path.
