Smiley face part 1

A yellow circle with a thick black outline occupies an SVG canvas, while two smaller unfilled circles serve as eyes. The face is incomplete, missing a mouth. The view renders statically with React, which is loaded via a UMD script and logged to the console. The SVG elements are positioned using fixed pixel coordinates, with the main circle centered at 480,250 and a radius of 245, while the eyes sit at 350,180 and 600,180. The code includes commented calculations for future eye offsets and stroke positioning.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal HTML page that displays the text “Hello HTML” in large, centered type using inline CSS, while simultaneously logging “Hello JavaScript!” to the browser’s developer console via a script tag. It serves as a bare-bones starting point for web development, showcasing how CSS styles the document and JavaScript executes client-side. The code uses no external libraries or frameworks, relying solely on native HTML, CSS, and JavaScript APIs to illustrate the fundamental structure of a web page.
