d3-start
This example demonstrates the simplest possible D3 setup: it displays the text “Hello D3 version 7” centered on the page. The code uses the `select` function from the D3 library to target the body element, then calls the `.text()` method to insert the string. The HTML file loads D3 v7 directly from the unpkg CDN, and the JavaScript is kept in a separate `bundle.js` file. This minimal case highlights how to initialize D3 and begin manipulating the DOM.
