An Android app displays a grid of image thumbnails fetched from a JSON-based photo API, with a hidden "Load More" button for potential pagination. The main activity uses an `AsyncTask` to download JSON data via `HttpURLConnection`, parse it with `JSONObject` and `JSONArray`, and decode thumbnail bitmaps from URLs using `BitmapFactory.decodeStream`. A custom `ImageThumbnailAdapter` extends `BaseAdapter` to render each bitmap in a `GridView` with four columns, sizing cells based on display width and using `CENTER_CROP` scaling.
