Multi-Series Line Chart
This multi-series line chart visualizes daily average temperatures for New York, San Francisco, and Austin over the course of a year, with each city represented by a distinct colored line from the d3.scale.category10 palette. The visualization uses a TSV dataset parsed with d3.tsv, encodes dates on the x-axis via d3.time.scale, temperature on the y-axis via d3.scale.linear, and uses d3.svg.line to render the three temperature curves. Conventional margins frame the chart, while axes are drawn with d3.svg.axis, and the color scale maps each city to a unique line color. The data domains are computed using d3.extent, d3.min, and d3.max, with column names derived via d3.keys. The visualization is rendered in SVG.
