A single SVG text element displays the phrase “hELLO!” in monospace at 36 pixels, positioned manually within a 960-by-500 viewport. The example uses d3.v4 to select the body, append an SVG container, and add the text node with explicit width and height attributes. It demonstrates basic D3 selection and attribute manipulation without any data binding or dynamic behavior. The rendering relies on SVG text, with font family and size set directly on the element.
