Generate an instance of OpenSSL::PKey::RSA from `n` and `e` in OpenSSL 3 on Ruby

This example shows how to reconstruct an OpenSSL RSA public key from the raw modulus and exponent values found in a JWKS well-known endpoint, such as Google’s certificate feed. It defines a `create_rsa_key` method that builds an ASN.1 DER structure using `OpenSSL::ASN1::Sequence` and `OpenSSL::ASN1::Integer`, then instantiates an `OpenSSL::PKey::RSA` object from that DER. The helper `base64_to_long` converts URL-safe Base64 strings like the provided `n` and `e` into Ruby integers via unpacking bytes and hex conversion, allowing the key to be generated programmatically from typical JSON data.

DPoP on browser with Rails

This example shows a Rails controller implementing the DPoP (Demonstrating Proof of Possession) protocol for browser requests to a resource server. The controller’s `index` and `create` actions build an HTTPS request to a hardcoded URI, generating a DPoP proof via the `Dpop::Controller` mixin’s `get_proof` method, which takes the HTTP method and a sanitized `htu` (URI with query and fragment stripped). The proof is attached as the `dpop` header alongside a bearer token in the `authorization` header, using Ruby’s `Net::HTTP` to send the request and store the response body in `@data`.

Combine etsy reviews with products to import to shopify

This example shows a Ruby script that combines Etsy order-item data and customer reviews into a Shopify-compatible product review import file. It matches reviews to purchased products using the `order_id`, filters out duplicate entries, and formats each review with the product handle, star rating, author, and date into a JSON output. The script uses the `json` and `date` standard libraries, reading from `EtsySoldOrderItems2021.json` and `reviews.json`, and writes the final result to `reviews_output.json` for manual CSV conversion and import.

This example estimates the value of pi using a Monte Carlo simulation implemented in Go, running ten parallel goroutines to generate ten million random point samples within a unit square. It calculates pi by comparing the fraction of points falling inside a quarter-circle to the total sample area. The visualization uses the `sync.WaitGroup` and channels to coordinate parallel workers, with `rand.Float64()` generating coordinates and `math.Pow` computing the distance check. The program prints the resulting pi estimate and the wall-clock execution time.

This visualization proves a GitHub account’s ownership by displaying a cryptographic signature and identity claim. It uses the Keybase API to verify a public key and sign a JSON object, with the resulting proof shown as formatted text and a code block. The page relies on Keybase’s web-service binding and the `keybase id` command-line tool for auditability, rendering the signed statement and key fingerprint directly in the browser.

fork of Collapsible tree diagram in v4

A collapsible tree diagram built with D3 v4 displays hierarchical data, starting with a top-level node and two child branches. Users click nodes to expand or collapse their children, with smooth animated transitions for nodes and links. The SVG visualization uses a tree layout, with nodes represented as circles and connecting paths, while labels show names like "Level 2: A" and "Son of A." The code applies a fixed-depth normalization, sets node positions via `d3.tree()`, and animates using `.transition()` with a 750-millisecond duration.
