Smiley Face Part 1

This example shows a simple yellow smiley face, built with two black-outlined circles as eyes and a large circular face, all rendered as SVG shapes. The face is centered on a 960 by 500 canvas, with the main circle’s radius calculated from the canvas height and stroke width. The code uses React with ReactDOM to define and output SVG elements, and the `index.html` file includes a script that logs React to the console. The visualization is static, displaying only the face and eyes without a mouth.

HTML Starter Kit

This example shows a minimal HTML page with a single SVG circle as the core visual element. The page uses raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without any external libraries, demonstrating the fundamental building blocks for web-based visualization. The CSS sets the circle’s sibling text to a large font size and centered alignment. The SVG element, with a width of 960 and height of 500, contains a circle with radius 100 but no fill or stroke attributes, rendering as a default black shape. This serves as a template for creating more complex visualizations.
