This area chart displays monthly website visitor counts, with a steel-blue filled region beneath a line tracing visitor numbers across months. The visualization uses a D3 v7 SVG rendering pipeline, employing `d3.area()` to generate the filled path, `d3.scalePoint()` for the categorical month axis, and `d3.scaleLinear()` for the visitor count axis. Data loads from a remote CSV via `d3.csv`, with axes rendered using `d3.axisBottom()` and `d3.axisLeft()`.

Activity 7.1

This pie chart visualizes sales by product, with each slice sized according to the product's sales value and colored using a categorical color scheme. The visualization is built with D3.js (v7), using `d3.pie()`, `d3.arc()`, and `d3.scaleOrdinal` to generate and style the chart, with an SVG-based legend and labels positioned via arc centroids. Data is loaded asynchronously from a remote CSV file using `d3.csv`, and the chart is rendered entirely through SVG elements.
