Loading and parsing CSV Data

This example demonstrates how to load a CSV file from a remote URL and parse its contents. It fetches the CSS named colors dataset from a GitHub gist using the JavaScript `fetch` API, then calls the `response.text()` method to retrieve the raw CSV data. The code shows the initial step of data loading and prepares the text for subsequent parsing, though it does not yet visualize the parsed color information.

Smiley Face Part 1

A grid of smiley faces, each with a yellow circular head, black outline, eyes, and a mouth, repeats across the view. The example uses React to render SVG circles and paths defined in modular components. It leverages D3’s `arc` generator to shape the mouth and `range` to create eighteen faces, with randomized eye and mouth sizes via `Math.random()`. The `FaceContainer` translates the SVG origin to center each face.

Fork of Smiley face part 1

This example shows a cheerful smiley face constructed from basic SVG shapes: a yellow circle head with a black stroke, two circular eyes, and a mouth drawn as an arc. The React component renders an SVG canvas, while D3’s `arc()` generator computes the mouth path using inner and outer radii and start/end angles. Hard-coded constants define dimensions and offsets for each facial feature, centering the composition within a fixed 960×500 viewport. The visualization demonstrates a simple, declarative approach to combining React with D3 for static SVG drawing.
