Fork of Fork of Projet UX

This visualization displays the top 10 most popular artists for a selected country using a lollipop chart. It loads artist rankings from a data.json file, mapping country codes to artist names and their popularity counts. The chart uses d3.scaleBand for the x-axis positioning and d3.scaleLinear for the y-axis scale, with SVG lines and circles rendered to form the lollipop design. Axis labels are rotated for readability, and the chart initializes with French artist data.

Fork of Line chart v1

This visualization displays the evolution of album counts per year for a selected country, using an SVG line chart. The view initially focuses on the United States, with the chart showing album counts over time. The implementation relies on D3 v5 for data loading, scaling, and axis generation, specifically using `d3.json`, `d3.scaleTime`, `d3.scaleLinear`, and `d3.line`. The code also integrates Bootstrap for a modal that appears to provide additional statistics about the selected country, and includes a tooltip for interaction.

Merged

This interactive choropleth map visualizes the global distribution of album counts by country, using a green color scale that darkens with higher values. Users can zoom and pan via D3’s `zoom` behavior, hover to see a tooltip with country name and album total, and click to open a modal displaying additional statistics like top genres and artists. The map is rendered with `d3.geoPath` and topojson world data, while country counts come from a local `data_map.json` file, with colors mapped through `d3.scaleLinear`.

Projet UX Brouillon

This interactive bar chart displays the top ten music genres for a selected country, with data loaded from a local JSON file containing genre counts per country. The visualization uses D3.js v5 (d3.scaleBand, d3.scaleLinear, d3.axisBottom, d3.axisLeft) to render an SVG with rotated genre labels for readability. A tooltip appears on mouseover to show each genre's name and count, while a back button is present but non-functional in the current draft. The chart initializes for France ("FR") as a starting example.
