Line Chart with Multiple Lines
This line chart displays one week of temperature data in degrees Celsius for cities worldwide, sourced from the Data Canvas - Sense Your City project. Multiple lines, one per city, are sorted by their final temperature value and rendered with semi-transparent strokes for overlapping readability. The visualization uses D3 v5’s scaleTime, scaleLinear, scaleOrdinal, line generator with curveBasis, and nest for data grouping, along with custom axes, a color legend, and an SVG rendering approach.
