This interactive tree diagram visualizes hierarchical data with collapsible nodes. The visualization renders a root node with two main branches, each leading to nested children with size values, using SVG and animated transitions. Clicking any node toggles its children, smoothly animating the layout changes with d3.layout.tree, d3.svg.diagonal for curved links, and d3 transitions over 750 milliseconds. The code uses D3 v3 to position nodes at fixed depths of 180 pixels and applies distinct styling to leaf nodes versus nodes with hidden children.
