Loading and Parcing CSV

This example demonstrates the initial steps of loading and parsing a CSV file using the browser’s native Fetch API. It fetches a remote CSV file containing CSS named colors from a GitHub gist, then logs the raw response object to the console. The visualization does not render any graphical output; instead, it focuses on the asynchronous data retrieval process, highlighting how a promise resolves and how the response can be inspected. The code uses plain JavaScript with `fetch(url)` and `promise.then()`, without any external libraries or data parsing functions.

Fork of Let's Make a Face Part I

This example renders a grid of procedurally generated smiley faces using React and SVG. Each face is composed of separate component files for the background circle, eyes, and mouth, which are parameterized by randomized values for eye radius and mouth curvature. The visualization uses d3's arc generator to construct the mouth path and d3's range to create the repeated face instances. The code demonstrates a modular component-based approach to building simple data-driven graphics within a React framework.

Fork of Let's Make a Face Part I

A static SVG drawing shows the first step toward a smiley face: a large yellow circle for the head and two smaller black circles for eyes, all centered on a 960-by-500 canvas. The code uses SVG elements—circle, fill, stroke, and stroke-width—directly in HTML, with no JavaScript or external library. The document includes a YouTube tutorial link, suggesting the visualization is an educational exercise in basic SVG shape creation.
