Fork of Smiley Face

This example displays a yellow smiley face with black-outlined circular eyes and a defined mouth, rendered entirely as SVG elements within a React application. The face’s geometry is computed using D3’s `arc` generator to create the mouth path, while the head and eyes are plain SVG circles positioned via React JSX. All dimensions, such as eye offsets, radii, and stroke widths, are defined as numeric constants, and the final SVG is mounted into the DOM by `ReactDOM.render`. The visualization primarily demonstrates the integration of React’s declarative component model with D3’s shape-generation utilities for simple, static graphics.

SVg fundamental

This example shows a minimal D3 setup that renders the text "Hello D3 version 7" in the center of the page using a very large font size. It uses the `select` method from D3 v7 to target the body element and set its text content. The page loads D3 from an external CDN and runs the code from a bundled JavaScript file. The visualization demonstrates the foundational step of binding data to the DOM with D3’s selection API.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates the minimal setup required to render text with D3 version 7, loading the library via a CDN and using the `select` function to target the page body. It shows the basic pattern of importing from D3, appending text content, and applying global CSS styling for centered, oversized typography. The code relies on `d3.select()` from the D3 v7 API, with the `bundle.js` file serving the JavaScript logic while `index.html` provides the document structure and stylesheet. The visualization itself is a static "Hello D3 version 7" message, serving as a starter template for beginners.
