This example shows a smiley face rendered as an SVG composition using React and D3.js. The face is built from circles, arcs, and lines, all positioned relative to the center of a 960x500 viewport. The D3 `arc` generator creates the mouth shape with specified inner/outer radii and angles. React’s `ReactDOM.render` injects the SVG into the page, while CSS sets a margin-free, overflow-hidden body. This example displays a polished world map with country boundaries, graticules, and a sphere outline rendered as an SVG using React. It loads geographic data from the World Atlas TopoJSON via `d3.json` and `topojson.feature`/`mesh` to extract land polygons and interior borders. The map is projected with `d3.geoNaturalEarth1` and drawn using `d3.geoPath`, while `d3.geoGraticule` generates the grid lines. Land areas are filled teal, interiors stroked in a lighter tone, and the sphere and graticules use neutral grays for a clean visual style.

This example demonstrates animated, semi-transparent circles overlaid on a lime-green background, with blue squares arranged across the top.
