Fork of Fork of Let's make a face with D3.js!

A smiley face made of bar-chart rectangles changes its expression based on population data from `data.csv`, which the code loads with D3's `csv` function. The visualization uses D3.js v5 to select the SVG element and bind the data to `rect` elements via `selectAll('rect').data(data)`, though the example only defines this rendering step without an explicit face-drawing function. The face itself is implied through the DOM manipulation pattern. The page includes a video explaining the process, and the code imports `select` and `csv` from `d3`.

SVG_Fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes, including rectangles, circles, and ellipses, rendered directly in an HTML document. It shows how basic vector graphics are constructed using standard SVG elements within the body of a webpage. The visualization uses the native SVG API via inline markup in the `index.html` file, with no external JavaScript libraries or data sources. The page is intentionally minimal, focusing purely on the static presentation of geometric primitives without any interactivity or dynamic behavior.
