This example renders a static smiley face using D3 v7 and SVG. Three circles form the face and eyes, with the face filled pink and stroked green, while D3’s `arc` function generates the mouth path. The code uses `d3.select` to target the SVG and appends a group with a translation, then creates the mouth via an arc with specified inner and outer radii and start and end angles. The data is hardcoded in the HTML, and the visualization is purely presentational with no interactive or animated behavior.
