This R Markdown notebook analyzes the 2022 Tour of Japan cycling race, comparing teams from two Japanese leagues, JCL and JBCF. It displays a data frame of 12 teams with their league affiliation and league ranking, then uses `dplyr` to group by league and count team numbers. The analysis includes complete race results with 71 riders, showing their general classification rank, time lag from the leader, bib number, and rider-team names. The code uses `dplyr` for data manipulation and `ggplot2` for potential visualization, with data structured as R data frames.

Gist 56bae813d9499b6a03fc6562a6e935db

This visualization example shows a workflow for converting clipboard data into a formatted HTML list. The code reads tab-separated values from the system clipboard using the `read.table` command with `pipe('pbpaste')`, then transforms the data with the `glue` and `dplyr` R libraries. The `glue_data` function dynamically interpolates the first two columns of the dataset, creating an HTML list item with a hyperlink where the second column becomes the URL and the first column becomes the link text. The output is a simple, functional web list ready for pasting into a document.

Gist 516bcb7a4ebf806fdf452c6bb43970be

This example visualizes the bibliographic entries from a LaTeX thebibliography environment, mapping each cited work as a node in a force-directed graph. It uses d3.forceSimulation to position the nodes and d3.select to render them as circles with labels. The rendering approach extracts the raw text of the .tex file, parses it for \bibitem entries, and assigns each a unique index based on the {9} placeholder. The graph shows the relative order of citations without additional links or hierarchy, focusing purely on the sequential structure of the reference list.

[転載] gitにおけるコミットログ/メッセージ例文集100

This example shows a curated collection of 100 real-world Git commit messages in English, organized by common actions like adding features, fixing bugs, and refactoring code. It demonstrates how to use imperative verb forms and concise phrasing for clear version control history. The data comes from GitHub repositories including Swift, Atom, Electron, Rails, and TensorFlow, filtered from over 25,000 commits. The display uses plain text formatting within a markdown file, with section headers and bullet lists to group similar message patterns.

procycling stats scraping for analyzing Japan Cup 2014 & 2013

This example compares the distribution of rider points from the 2013 and 2014 Japan Cup races. It first scrapes startlists from procyclingstats.com using `rvest`, `magrittr`, and `XML`, extracting rider links via XPath and then fetching each rider’s points from a detail page. The scraped data is stored as CSV files, read with `read.csv`, labeled with a `year` column, and combined before being visualized with a dodged histogram using `ggplot2`’s `qplot`. The result shows point distributions for both years side by side, highlighting differences in scoring patterns.
