Fork of Pathetic Bar Chart
This example shows the top 10 most populous countries as a pathetic bar chart with no axes, where each country’s 2020 population is drawn as a bare rectangle. Using React with hooks, it loads data from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2019 CSV via `d3.csv`. The chart applies `d3.scaleBand` for the x-axis and `d3.scaleLinear` for the y-axis, rendering SVG `<rect>` elements inside a `<g>` transform, with the y-value inverted from the inner height.
