barchart1

This example loads a CSV dataset containing COVID-19 statistics for Afghanistan, using d3.csv to parse the data and log it to the console. The page sets up a 960x500 SVG canvas with D3 v5, though no visual marks are yet rendered. The code demonstrates importing specific D3 modules like `select` and `csv`, preparing the foundation for future bar-chart visualizations of the pandemic data.

Fork of D3 v5 Zoomable Sunburst

This zoomable sunburst visualizes the hierarchical Flare dataset, showing the relative sizes of categories and subcategories in a radial layout. Users click on arcs to zoom into deeper levels, with smooth animated transitions between views. Built with D3 v5, it uses `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.partition`, and `d3.arc` to compute the layout, while `d3.interpolate` and `transition.attrTween` animate arc paths and label positions. The color scale maps top-level categories using `d3.scaleOrdinal` and `d3.interpolateRainbow`.

Fork of ICE - 7 Pie Chart Maanas Katta

A pie chart visualizes the top 10 countries by estimated deaths from air pollution in 2020, with each slice labeled in thousands and accompanied by an interactive legend with colored squares and values. The chart is rendered as an SVG using D3 v5, fetching CSV data from a GitHub gist via `d3.csv`. It builds arcs with `d3.pie` and `d3.arc`, maps slice colors through `d3.scaleOrdinal`, and formats numbers with `d3.format`. Text labels are centered using arc centroids, while the legend is manually positioned with SVG groups and rectangles.
