This bar chart displays the top 20 countries by population in 2010, using horizontal bars ordered by country name. The React app loads CSV data remotely, processes it with `d3.csv`, and renders SVG marks via `scaleBand` for the y-axis and `scaleLinear` for the x-axis. The chart includes axis components with tick formatting using `d3.format` to abbreviate large numbers, while native SVG `<title>` elements provide tooltips. The visualization demonstrates reusable React components for axes and marks, with styling applied through CSS classes.

This example shows a scatter plot of iris flower measurements, mapping sepal length to the x-axis, petal length to the y-axis, and encoding species with different symbol shapes. The visualization includes labeled axes generated with `d3.axisLeft` and `d3.axisBottom`, plus a custom shape legend built from `d3.symbol` with `symbolsFill`. Data loads asynchronously from a CSV file via `d3.csvParse`, and the plot uses `d3.scaleLinear` and `d3.scaleOrdinal`, with marks rendered as SVG paths via `symbolGenerator`.

Fork of IMDb Movie ratings

This stacked bar chart shows how IMDb movie ratings are distributed across six genres, with each bar segment representing the percentage of movies falling into one of five rating brackets. The visualization uses d3.stack and d3.scaleOrdinal to compose the bars, while d3.axisBottom and d3.scaleBand structure the percentage axis and genre categories. Genre and rating data are loaded from a CSV file via d3.csv. Mouse events trigger a tooltip displaying the exact percentage for each segment, populated through D3’s selection and event handling methods.

This bar chart visualizes the population of ten countries in the year 2000, ordered along a categorical y-axis. The visualization uses React and D3 v5 to render an SVG, with `d3.scaleBand` and `d3.scaleLinear` mapping country names to horizontal bar lengths. Data is loaded from a remote CSV file via `d3.csv`, with population values converted from thousands. Axis ticks and bar tooltips are formatted using `d3.format`, and the chart includes styled axis lines and labels.

Buddha Project

A striking mandala-like visualization of 21,000 semi-transparent, rotating diamond shapes, each colored with randomly generated RGB values, overlaid in a dense pattern atop a black background. The React-driven SVG rendering uses nested array mappings to distribute and layer the shapes across the canvas, with the Buddha path centered and scaled prominently. The chaotic, colorful diamond field contrasts with the dark background, while the central figure provides a focal point of meditative calm amid the visual noise.
