Viz_AreaChartforQuestion2

This visualization shows the number of deaths caused by air pollution across different countries, with each country plotted as a point along a categorical axis and the death count represented by the vertical position of an area chart. The area is filled with a light blue color, and both axes are labeled to indicate the country name and the death count metric. The chart is built using D3 v6, employing `d3.scaleBand` and `d3.scaleLinear` for positioning, `d3.area` to generate the filled path, and `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft` for the axes. Data is loaded from a remote CSV file via `d3.csv`.

Viz_PieChartforQuestion1

This pie chart visualizes air pollution deaths across countries, displaying each country’s share as a percentage of the total deaths. The code uses D3 v5 APIs including `d3.pie`, `d3.arc`, `d3.scaleOrdinal`, and `d3.csv`, rendering the chart as an SVG. Death values are loaded from a remote CSV, converted to numbers, and used to compute slices and legend labels, with tooltip-free text labels placed via `arc.centroid()`. A legend to the right shows country names and death counts formatted in thousands.
