Viz for Voter Data
This visualization shows voter-eligible participation (VEP) percentages for each U.S. state across election years, highlighting changes between presidential and midterm elections. Dots represent individual state-year data points, with lines connecting consecutive elections of the same type, and hovering over a point enlarges it to show the selected state. The chart uses D3.js v5’s `scaleLinear`, `axisLeft`, `axisBottom`, and `line` APIs, rendering as SVG. Data is loaded from a CSV file containing VEP figures by state and year, with jitter added to x-positions using `d3.randomUniform` to separate overlapping points.
