Fork of Coronavirus Deaths Over Time by Country
This visualization shows the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths over time for each country, plotted as individual lines on a logarithmic scale to accommodate wide ranges in case numbers. The chart uses D3 version 5 with React to render the SVG paths, with each country’s timeseries drawn as a separate line using a random color. Data comes from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus dataset, processed via d3.csv and timeParse. Axes are built with d3.axisBottom and d3.axisLeft, while the line generator uses d3.line with scaleTime and scaleLog.
