This example shows a simple bar chart with five vertical bars of varying heights. The bars are positioned side-by-side and share a consistent width. This example renders a blank 960-by-500 SVG canvas and a single line of static text reading “Hello, I am Perry Biava.” It uses d3.v4’s `d3.select` to grab the `body` element, `.append()` to create the SVG, and the SVG `text` element with fixed `x`, `y`, `font-size`, and `font-family` attributes. No data is loaded, and no interaction or animation occurs; the visualization is purely a hard-coded greeting drawn in monospace type.
