Demo Bar Chart with IT-Skill Data

This example presents a static bar chart of IT-skill data, organized by categorical skill names and their associated values. The visualization relies on a minimal HTML structure that loads the D3.js v6 library from a Content Delivery Network and executes a pre-compiled JavaScript bundle. The core rendering is driven by the D3 `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear` APIs to map data to horizontal bar lengths, while the `d3.csv` or similar data-loading mechanism is not explicitly shown, as the source data is embedded in the pre-built bundle. The chart focuses on clear categorical comparison through simple, unadorned bars.

HTML Starter

This example presents a minimal HTML page that displays the text "Hello" in the center of the browser window, with styling applied via a CSS rule that sets the font size to 13em. The page includes a script tag that logs the string "Hello JavaScript!" to the browser’s console, demonstrating basic inline JavaScript execution. It uses no external libraries or frameworks, relying solely on standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript APIs. The example serves as a starting point for building more complex visualizations, as it contains no data or rendering logic beyond the static text and console output.
