This interactive map displays PM2.5 particle concentrations across US counties from 2000 to 2018. A slider and play button animate through yearly data, with a sequential YlGnBu color scale mapping concentration values. The visualization uses React with D3 v5’s `geoPath` and `geoIdentity` projections to render county boundaries from TopoJSON data, while county-level PM2.5 values are loaded from a CSV file. Hover tooltips reveal state and concentration details, and the color legend provides axis ticks for reference.
