Fork of D3 Scatter Plot

This fork of a D3 scatter plot visualizes the Iris Dataset, mapping petal length to the x-axis and sepal length to the y-axis. Each of the 150 flowers appears as a circle, with scales derived from the data’s extent and axes drawn using `axisLeft` and `axisBottom`. The code loads the CSV via `d3.csv`, parses numeric fields, and renders the SVG across the full viewport. It demonstrates a minimal, full-screen scatter plot with a custom tick font size, built using D3 v6.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates the fundamental structure of an SVG-based visualization. It sets up a blank 700 by 700 pixel canvas and includes a JavaScript loop that iterates five times, though the loop body is empty. The rendering relies on the native SVG element within the HTML, with styling applied directly in the page’s CSS. The visualization uses the Document Object Model (DOM) API via a standard `for` loop, and the displayed content is entirely dependent on the SVG markup defined in the document.
