Homework 6
This interactive scatterplot from D3 v7 uses an SVG canvas to explore the relationship between GDP per capita and CO₂ emissions per capita, with points colored by world region and a legend on the right. The visualization supports both hover-based tooltips that display detailed text and click-to-select functionality, with a toggleable 2000ms tooltip delay button for testing responsiveness. Data loads from a CSV file via `d3.csv` with `d3.autoType`, axes are rendered with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft`, and the chart uses `d3.scaleLinear` for both axes and `d3.scaleOrdinal` with `d3.schemeTableau10` for color encoding.
