Fork of Vega-Lite API Template

This visualization uses the Vega-Lite API to render a scatter plot of automotive data from the UCI Auto MPG dataset, loaded via d3.csv. The active chart displays vehicle origin on the x-axis and horsepower on the y-axis, with large translucent circular marks and tooltips showing car names. The code registers Vega-Lite with vega, vega-lite-api, and vega-tooltip, and applies custom axis and label styling from a config object. The visualization is responsive, fitting the full browser window.

Hello HTML

This example shows a grid of 18 cartoon faces, each rendered with slightly randomized eye and mouth sizes, creating a playful sense of variety. It uses React components to compose the face from separate SVG shapes: a yellow background circle, two eyes, and an arc-based mouth. The code leverages D3’s `arc` API to generate the mouth path, and React’s `range` utility from D3 to create the array of faces. Rendering is done entirely in SVG within a React application.
