This interactive ML Configuration Explorer visualizes 20 synthetic model configurations across six training stages, letting users compare accuracy, latency, and parameters through linked 2D scatterplots, small multiples, animated epoch frames, and a 3D plot rendered with Plotly. The D3 v7 SVG views feature brushing, selection, tooltips with configurable delay, and a timer for racing between views. Users can load data from a public gist or download the CSV, with both SVG and Plotly rendering driven by loaded CSV data.

This interactive explorer shows how different visual encodings affect the interpretation of synthetic machine-learning configuration data, including training time, accuracy, and model size. Five toggleable versions demonstrate position, categorical hue, quantitative area, a deliberately broken encoding, and a repaired chart with an outlier highlight. The visualization uses D3 v7’s `d3.csv` to load data from a GitHub gist and renders SVG circles with color scales and size mappings.
