This visualization uses an area chart to show the relationship between study hours and the corresponding grade values (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1) for individual students. The chart’s fill uses a linear gradient transitioning from rose to blue to green. The code loads a CSV from GitHub, filters for entries with study hours and grades, maps letters to numeric values, and sorts the data by study hours before creating a smooth monotone-X curve. The axes are drawn with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft`.

This example displays a horizontal bar chart of the top ten countries by population in 2020, using data from the provided CSV file. The bars are sorted in descending order and colored steelblue. The visualization is built with D3 v6, using `d3.scaleBand` for the categorical y-axis, `d3.scaleLinear` for the quantitative x-axis, and SVG rendering. Axis components are created with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft`, while population values are formatted with `d3.format`. The data is loaded asynchronously via `d3.csv`.

This example displays a simple, centered greeting by rendering a text message on a web page. The visualization demonstrates a minimal D3.js setup, using the `select` API to target an HTML element and update its content. The text itself is imported from a separate ES6 module, highlighting basic code modularity. The page’s styling is managed through a linked CSS file, while the D3 library is loaded from a CDN, providing a foundational template for building more complex charts.

This example displays a static text message centered on the page using D3.js. The code imports the `select` function from D3 and applies it to an HTML div with the ID `message`, setting its text content to a string imported from a separate ES6 module. Styling is handled through external CSS, which aligns the text and sets a large font size. The visualization demonstrates basic DOM manipulation and modular JavaScript structure within a minimal D3 setup.
