Fork of Polished World Map

This example presents a polished choropleth-free world map using a Natural Earth projection. It displays country boundaries, landmasses, and graticules styled with a teal color palette against a light gray sphere. The visualization renders as SVG via React components, with the `geoNaturalEarth1` and `geoPath` APIs from d3.v5 handling projection and path generation. Data originates from the World Atlas TopoJSON file, processed using `feature` and `mesh` from the topojson library to extract land polygons and interior borders; the map is drawn with `d3.geoPath` to create the final paths.

Fork of Vega-Lite API Template

A scatterplot visualizes automated speed enforcement charges, mapping ward numbers against total charges with point size and opacity encoding, while color distinguishes the origin of each charge and tooltips reveal the name field. The visualization uses the Vega-Lite API to construct the chart, with D3’s `csv` loader fetching data from a GitHub gist. Custom configuration adjusts axis labels and font styling, and the rendering leverages Vega, Vega-Lite, and Vega-Tooltip for interactive SVG output.

Fork of Vega-Lite API Template

This example depicts a scatter plot of automobile data, showing the relationship between engine displacement and horsepower, with tooltips revealing car names. Built with the Vega-Lite API, it uses `vl.markPoint` and `vl.encode` to define visual encodings, while D3’s `csv` loads the auto-mpg dataset. The chart is rendered as an SVG via Vega and Vega-Lite, with custom axis and label styling from the config file. Tooltips are handled by the Vega Tooltip handler.
