Total Zika Virus Cases in 2016

This choropleth map shows the total number of Zika virus cases in each U.S. state for 2016, using a logarithmic color scale that ranges from aqua to midnight blue to indicate case counts. The visualization loads state-level data from a CSV file and merges it with GeoJSON boundaries from `us-states.json`, rendering the map as SVG paths via `d3.geo.path()` with an Albers USA projection. Total Zika Virus Cases in 2015

This map uses a D3.js Albers equal-area conic projection to show the total number of Zika virus cases reported by U.S. states and territories for 2015. Each state’s fill color is determined by its case count using a logarithmic color scale, ranging from aqua to midnight blue. Hovering over a state displays a tooltip with the state name and its total. The data is loaded from a CSV file and merged with state geometries from a GeoJSON file.

Zika Virus (simplified)

A choropleth map of the United States colors each state according to the number of West Nile virus cases reported, with a logarithmic color scale ranging from blue to light blue. The code loads state-level case counts from a CSV file and merges them with geographic boundaries from a GeoJSON file, using D3 v3’s `d3.geo.albersUsa` projection and `d3.geo.path` to render the SVG paths. Hovering over a state increases its fill opacity, but no tooltip or legend is implemented in this version.
