This bar chart displays the population of ten vital-sign indicators, showing both positive and negative values from a 2018 United Nations-derived dataset. Using D3 v5, the visualization renders SVG rectangles with a linear scale for population values and a band scale for categorical labels, while customizing the axis formatting with abbreviations. The data is loaded from a CSV file via d3.csv, and the chart includes an x-axis label and title that are currently left empty.
