Making a Face (SVG, React, D3)

This example draws a single red circle as the foundation of a face, using an SVG element embedded directly in an HTML page. The page loads a CSS stylesheet that resets margins and hides overflow, and the circle is rendered with a fixed radius on a 960-by-500 canvas. The code uses plain SVG elements and attributes, with React and D3 mentioned as framework dependencies but not actively invoked in the visible logic. The visualization shows the minimal starting state for a larger, interactive face-building exercise.

This example displays a grid of 50 rounded black squares arranged in a flexible, wrapping layout on a white background. It demonstrates basic DOM manipulation and styling using vanilla JavaScript and CSS. The code creates each square with `document.createElement('div')` and appends it to the body within a loop, while CSS flexbox handles the responsive positioning and border-radius for the rounded corners. The page serves as a simple exercise in programmatic element generation and layout.
