CipherHealth "Our Hospitals" Map

This interactive map plots CipherHealth’s hospital and health-system accounts across the United States, with each location rendered as a circle whose size reflects an associated score and color encoding the account type. The visualization uses D3.js with a `d3.geo.albersUsa` projection and TopoJSON data for state boundaries, while animated transitions drop the markers into place on load. Hovering reveals tooltips powered by `d3-tip`, and a custom legend maps the categorical color scale to facility categories.

CipherHealth "Our Hospitals" map - D3

This choropleth map colors U.S. states by a three-tiered value scale (lived, visited, or unvisited) and overlays proportional circles for six cities sized by years resided. Built with D3 v3, it uses the Albers USA projection (`d3.geo.albersUsa`) and `d3.geo.path` to render GeoJSON state boundaries, while assigning fill colors via a linear scale. Hovering a city fades SVG circles and displays a tooltip div, with a legend generated from Bostock’s block.
