Fork of Missing Migrants Scatter Plot Log Scale

This scatter plot visualizes the Missing Migrants Dataset, showing each migration event as a point with reported date on the x-axis and total dead and missing on a log-scaled y-axis using d3.scaleLog and d3.scaleTime. The React-based visualization renders SVG circles and axes, with tick formatting via timeFormat and tooltips showing the full date. Axes are styled with custom tick marks, and the code includes a loading state while fetching the CSV data through d3.csv.

Fork of Global Coronavirus Deaths

This line chart displays the global cumulative death toll from COVID-19 over time, based on data from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Dataset. The visualization plots daily death totals on a linear y-axis against a time-scaled x-axis using d3.scaleTime and d3.scaleLinear, with the line generated via d3.line. Reference lines mark the 10,000-death threshold and the most recent date, implemented through custom React components. The SVG rendering is handled with D3 v5 and React, styled with minimal CSS.

choropleth Map

A choropleth map visualizes missing migrant events from the Missing Migrants Dataset, with each circle sized by the total number of dead and missing per event. The map uses the `geoNaturalEarth1` projection and renders land, graticules, and country interiors via `geoPath`. Circle radii are scaled with `scaleSqrt` based on the data values. The visualization loads World Atlas TopoJSON for country boundaries and plots events using d3.csv and React hooks for data fetching.
