barchart_wj
This bar chart displays the total floating population in Gangnam District by quarter and year, from 2019 Q1 to 2020 Q4, using data from the Seoul Open Data Plaza. The visualization uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering and animation. Each bar shows its value on hover, while a horizontal dashed line indicates the selected bar's value, and the differences between all bars and the hovered bar appear as text labels. The chart includes a y-axis with a 650,000–800,000 range, gridlines, and axis labels, with mouseenter and mouseleave events triggering opacity transitions and dynamic label updates.
