This example shows a utility function for determining whether two timestamp values fall on the same calendar day. It compares both the day-of-year and the year extracted from each timestamp, using the `Calendar` class from the Android or Java standard library. The function converts each `Long` timestamp into a `Calendar` instance via `getInstance()` and `timeInMillis`, then checks the `DAY_OF_YEAR` and `YEAR` fields. The code relies entirely on `Calendar` APIs and does not involve any visualization or external data source.

This example demonstrates a Kotlin-based reactive flow pipeline that emits a sequence of eight "Hello" messages at 700-millisecond intervals. The visualization pairs two components: an `Activity_Flow.kt` file that subscribes to a lifecycle-scoped `Flow` collector, and a `ViewModel_Flow.kt` file that defines the `triggerFlow()` function using the `flow` builder with `repeat` and `delay` operators. The code highlights the use of Kotlin coroutines and the Flow API for asynchronous, time-based data streaming, though it does not render any graphical output.

This example demonstrates the computation of the 8181st Fibonacci number using an iterative method with Java’s `BigDecimal` class to handle arbitrarily large integer results. The code defines two functions: a naive recursive version that would be impractical for large inputs, and an optimized iterative loop that builds the sequence by adding the previous two values. The main method prints the final result for 8181, showcasing how `BigDecimal` enables precise arithmetic beyond standard primitive type limits.

Hello Android

This example demonstrates two-way communication between a web page and a native Android app. The HTML interface provides buttons that trigger JavaScript functions, which in turn call Java methods exposed through the `addJavascriptInterface` API. The Java `JsInterface` class handles these calls by showing toast notifications, opening alert dialogs, toggling toolbar visibility, and locking the back key. Conversely, a `calledFromAndroid` JavaScript function updates a paragraph’s text when invoked from the Android side. The code uses standard Android `AlertDialog`, `Toast`, and `WebView` APIs to bridge the web and native environments.

A SectionedGridRecyclerViewAdapter: use this class to realize a simple sectioned grid `RecyclerView.Adapter`.

This example demonstrates how to add section headers to an Android grid list without modifying the underlying item adapter. It uses a custom `SectionedGridRecyclerViewAdapter` that wraps a standard `RecyclerView.Adapter` and extends `RecyclerView.Adapter` with a `GridLayoutManager`. The adapter overlays full-width section titles at specified positions by overriding `getItemViewType` and using a `SpanSizeLookup` to span headers across grid columns. It relies on Java collections like `SparseArray` and `ArrayList` for section management, with layout inflation from XML resources for both items and headers.
