Fork of Bowl of Fruit - General Update Pattern Special Cases
This example demonstrates the general update pattern for dynamic data in D3.js, using a bowl of fruit as a visual metaphor. It shows how the chart reacts to changes in a fruit array over time: five apples appear initially, one is removed, one apple changes to a lemon, and another apple is filtered out. The code uses D3’s selection API, including `select`, `selectAll`, `enter`, `merge`, and `exit`, to update SVG elements. It also leverages ordinal and linear scales from D3 to map fruit types to colors and radii.
