test

This example displays the number 250,000 in large white Ubuntu text against a dark blue background, demonstrating basic DOM manipulation with the D3.js library (v5). The page loads D3 from a CDN and uses an empty import statement, while CSS handles the styling through Google Fonts and body properties. The visualization simply presents static text with no interactive or dynamic elements, serving as a minimal template for exploring VizHub’s project structure and D3 integration.

Collection data filter and sort

This example demonstrates how to filter and sort collection data from the Dutch digital heritage network API. It uses a SPARQL query to retrieve object counts per geographic origin and object type, then processes the JSON result. The visualization focuses on ranking origins by quantity, showing the top ten objects per continent. Built with D3.js v5 and vanilla JavaScript, it fetches data from the NMVW dataset using the `loadApiData` function and displays the results in a text-based interface.

Smiley d3

A yellow smiley face rendered as an SVG reacts to a repeating two-second animation cycle: its eyebrows shift downward and then reset, creating a winking effect. The face is composed of geometric primitives—circles for the head and eyes, rectangles for the brows, and a path for the mouth drawn with d3.arc. The code uses d3's selection API and transition system, running within VizHub's d3.v5 environment.

Hello VizHub

This example displays a large, centered “Hello VizHub!” message on a dark blue background with white Ubuntu font. It demonstrates basic VizHub project structure using ES6 modules and D3.js. The code imports the `select` function from D3 and a custom `message` string from a local module, then sets the text of a `div` element using `select('#message').text()`. Styling is handled through an external CSS file with a Google Fonts import.
