Fork of Stylized Line Chart

This example visualizes temperature trends over a week in San Francisco using a smooth, stylized line chart. The chart, rendered as an SVG, displays time on the x-axis and temperature on the y-axis, with a notable absence of individual data point markers, emphasizing the overall trend. The visualization is built with React and D3 v5, leveraging D3's `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, and `line` APIs to map data and draw the curved path using `curveNatural`. The dataset is loaded from a CSV file via D3's `csv` function.

D3.js

This example uses D3.js v3 within a minimal React-free HTML page to demonstrate the core charting workflow. The code sets up an interactive visualization by selecting an empty body element and appending SVG or canvas elements via D3’s data-join methods. While the provided files contain only the basic scaffolding—a blank `index.html` and an empty `app.js`—the intended purpose is to show how D3 selections and scales build a chart from scratch. The documentation references D3’s force simulation and path generators as potential next steps.
