This example displays total greenhouse gas emissions across Swiss NUTS2 regions on a choropleth map, using the eurostatmap library. The visualization color-codes regions with a sequential RdYlBu scale, employing a threshold classification method to bin emission values into distinct color intervals. The map is rendered as SVG and built with React, integrating d3-color and d3-scale-chromatic for color interpolation. It includes a legend showing emission ranges, tooltips, and a button to download the resulting SVG, with responsive layout adjustments for smaller screens.
