Fork of Smiley Face Part IV

This example shows a simple smiley face composed of SVG shapes: a yellow circle for the head, two red circles for the eyes, and two arcs for the nose and mouth. The face is rendered with React components, using D3’s `arc` generator to create the curved paths for the mouth and nose. The SVG is drawn from a React component that maps the face’s geometry (center, radii, and offsets) into the corresponding `<circle>` and `<path>` elements.

Fork of Vega-Lite API Template

This example displays a scatter plot of automobile engine displacement against horsepower, with a tooltip revealing the vehicle name when hovering over each point. Built with the Vega-Lite API, the visualization uses D3.js for data loading via `d3.csv`, pulling the auto-mpg dataset from a GitHub Gist. The code registers Vega and Vega-Lite, configures custom axis and label styling, and relies on `vl.markPoint` with encoded quantitative fields to generate the interactive SVG output.
