Mouse follower

This example demonstrates loading a CSV dataset with D3 utilities and managing the resulting asynchronous state within a React component. The application uses React’s `useState` hook to store the fetched data and conditionally renders a status message indicating whether the data is loaded or still loading. The code explicitly imports `csv` from D3 v5 and invokes it on a remote URL, while the React DOM renders the root element. The visualization itself is minimal, showing only a text response rather than any graphical output.

Fork of Test 1

This example loads a CSV file of CSS named colors from a GitHub gist and displays its basic metadata. It shows the file size in kilobytes, the number of rows, and the number of columns in a large text element. The visualization uses D3 v7’s `d3.csv` to fetch and parse the data, then prints the statistics via `d3.csvFormat` and DOM text replacement. No graphical chart is rendered; the output is purely textual.

Fork of Smiley Face Part III

A single yellow circle follows the mouse cursor across an SVG canvas. The React component relies on an `onMouseMove` handler to capture pointer coordinates, which updates the circle's `cx` and `cy` properties. This example uses React 16.9 with hooks like `useState` and `useCallback`, and while D3 v5 is loaded, the visible rendering is plain SVG without any D3 functions. The initial mouse position is centered within the 960 by 500 viewport.

Ewa exercise 1

This example displays a static yellow smiley face composed of three SVG circles on a dark background. The largest circle forms the face, with two smaller circles representing eyes, all hardcoded with fixed coordinates and dimensions within an SVG container. It uses React 16.9.0 for the page framework, though the actual drawing is plain SVG markup in the HTML file. The rendering relies on basic SVG circle elements, not data-driven or interactive features.
