This demo visualizes memory allocation in a programming context using D3.js (v4) with SVG rendering. A large rectangle represents memory, divided into 25 equal segments, with colored sub-rectangles showing variable placements (boolean, int, char, float, double) at differing offsets. The code builds the visualization entirely with D3 selections and appends, then animates each variable assignment sequentially using `transition()` with 2000ms delays, highlighting text declarations alongside the memory diagram. The final variable reassignment demonstrates updating a value before the animation restarts.
