Fork of Cars Report

This example demonstrates how to generate a text-based car report from a JSON dataset. It uses JavaScript promises with `setTimeout` to simulate asynchronous data loading, then filters and formats car entries using array methods like `.filter()` and `.map()`. The code imports and exports functions across ES6 modules, displaying the final report in an HTML `<pre>` element while also showing the first car’s make in a separate paragraph.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates the basic setup for a D3 version 6 project, displaying a static "Hello world" message in the browser. It shows how to structure an HTML page with a script tag loading the D3 library and a separate JavaScript module that imports the `select` function. The code includes a sample dataset of car objects parsed from a JSON string, though the visualization does not render this data. The page uses a simple styled `<pre>` element to output the text, with the main logic handled through `document.getElementById` and the imported D3 selection method.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example displays a centered, large "Hello HTML" message with a font size of 13em, demonstrating basic HTML and CSS styling. It also logs the string "Hello JavaScript!" to the browser console upon page load. The code uses vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the console output invoked via the `console.log` API. This is a minimal starter template that illustrates static text rendering and client-side script execution, without any external libraries or data inputs.
